This site was created to help Austin Africans sell their African goods to their fellow Africans. I don’t see myself going to eBay or craigslist looking for local African food items like home grown fresh vegetables and fruits, stock-fish, dry-fish or Dashiki Clothes or Clothing Materials. Many Africans have these items at home, doing home businesses, but they don’t have a store to sell or display them. I believe having this marketplace will help them sell and help those buying to save money on bargain prices. I miss back home in Africa when you go to market and negotiate prices for goods.
